Zhiltsov Vladimir Ivanovich

Vladimir Ivanovich Zhiltsov was born on October 9, 1915 in the village of Medvedevo  of  Novosyolovskii district in Krasnoyarsk Territory. He graduated from the  factory-and-workshop school number 20 in the city of Krasnoyarsk. According to Vladimir Ivanovich , training was not easy for him, but he finished high  school successfully . In 1933 , after finishing courses of radio operators , he  worked in the timber industry " Guerrilla " in Krasnoyarsk Territory. 

From September 1937 to October 1940  Vladimir  Zhiltsov was serving in the army  In 1942 he went to the front as a volunteer in the 78th special volunteer team. 

Vladimir says : "I was one of the first to join the 78th special volunteer team which was being formed at that time in the Green Grove in Krasnoyarsk.

Private soldiers and officers were walking down  Mira street to the railway station. People were showering us with leaflets  with their wishes to  defeat the enemy as quickly as possible  and return home  safe and sound".

After the war Vladimir Ivanovich came to the village of Shush, took a job of a radio operator  but he fell seriously ill and doctors advised  him to leave his work. In 1949 he moved to the village of Minino  where he headed the Veterans Council  And up to this day  V.I.  Zhiltsov has been  living in Minino. In 2005 he was 90 years old but he remembers all the events of the war  as if it were yesterday
