Malakhova Ekaterina Yakovlevna

Ekaterina Yakovlevna Malakhova was a volunteer of the second draft of the 78th Stalin volunteer brigade. She was born on August 6, 1923 in the village of Kubekovo of Emelyanovskiy district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the family of farmers. The family of Tolstikovs was large. Ekaterina Yakovlevna was the 18th child in the family. But in those difficult days only 9 children survived.

The terrible days of the war came. The news quickly spread through the whole Russia. Siberia stirred up and the78th volunteer team of Siberians began to form. Our heroine entered in the second tier when she was not 20 years old.

For her mother it was a hit , as all the other children of the family Tolstikovo were already at war, but, having received her blessing , Catherine Y. within 78 minutes of the Stalin volunteer team of Siberians . In the second tier entered our heroine , she unhesitatingly stepped into the war , when she was not yet 20 years old . She Unhesitatingly stepped into the war.

Now her life is not the same as she would like to and at times she feels bad. But she does not lose heart - "the world is not without good people."
